The Neale N.S. is a rural, co-educational, primary school located in The Neale village. The Neale is part of Cong, Cross, The Neale Parish, which is part of the Archdiocese of Tuam. The Neale is in South County Mayo and is about 5 kilometres from the town of Ballinrobe.
There are six mainstream teaching staff as well as two support teachers in the school at present, catering to 143 pupils.
The school sits on a large, attractive, well maintained site which has mature gardens and beautiful trees. The facility was enhanced with the addition of an all weather/Astro playing pitch in 2016.
