We are busy preparing for our Christmas Carol singing next week. We are very excited and can’t wait to sing all our favourites for our schoolmates and parents. We are also looking forward to seeing the other classes performing! Roll on the big day!
We have a great time with our activities during break time and we make some amazing creations! Have a look at some recent ones above.
We did some lovely artwork this week for Hallowe'en. We painted some scary witchy feet, made puimcín decorations & decorated our own masks. We came to school dressed in our Hallowe'en costumes on Thursday & we had lots of fun at our Hallowe'en party! You can see us in our scary costumes below & check us out singing "Oíche Shamhna" over on our school twitter account.
Happy Hallowe'en everybody!
We enjoyed Maths Week in October. We enjoyed learning about 2D shapes and exploring shape with our Tangrams. We played games with the infants where we used our bodies to create shapes. We had great fun!
School Trip to Galway
On the 15th of June a very excited group of children headed off on our 1st & 2nd class trip, accompanied by Ms Brett & Ms Coleman. We went to Galway and visited the Atlantiquarium in Salthill for our first stop. The day was very wet but this did not dampen our spirits! We learned a great deal and enjoyed our experience at the Atlantiquarium. The Atlantiquarium was followed with a visit to the indoor play centre at the Headford Road Shopping Centre, which was great fun too!
